Sounds like a bad install on the prom or a really bad vaccum leak.
Today we discovered that when we replace the 37lbs injectors with the stock injectors the car idles a ton better. We think it may be in the tune? Could you check for me and see if they were set for 37's?

Those sound awfully big for a 383. It is super/turbochargered or have nitrous?
The engine was used in a 94 but it's a 4 bolt main, vented opti motor. I'm using the 1993 computer with a chip from Alvin.
No worries What does it run like with the stock tune on it? What is the fuel pressure set at?

Is the computer programmed for 37's?
I think he is waiting to find out that bit of info from Alvin. If it is set for the right size in the tune then it wont really matter what size is used as long as its big enough to flow enough fuel. The computer will calculate how long each injector has to squirt for the required amount of fuel based on the size set in the tune.

Ill try the stock tune and see how it works out. Just my luck it would be a problem with the tune after it took forever to get.
