As mentioned above, after I lined everything up, and made the cuts on the mufflers so they sat in, I did weld the system up. This way I didn't have to use the clamps, and if I ever have to do any work on the rearend, I can just drop the whole system in one piece, and not have to worry about anything shifting.
Thanks for the fantastic write up Jeff. Last night I ordered the MagnaFlows ( 15623 ) thru Performance Peddller. A friend of mine Dave in West Va. helped me out and got me on with these guys... Sure glad he did cuz I ended up paying 334.34 with shipping included.. One place I almost secured an order with was looking for 466.00 plus shipping..
Your sound clip was great... Sure gives me a good idea ( ear full ) of what mine will be like installed. The stock system just doesn't cut it. I was use to a B & B system that was installed ona 90 ZR1 so like many others I enjoy that deep throaty sound.
Paul the owner of The Corvette Shop where I purchased the car will be installing the mufflers for me. He's the best of the best so of course I trust him.
Anyway, after I get them on I will post pic's and a sound clip of my 92.
Anybody out there have any experience or have the Magna Flow set up on a C4. I'm considering getting one for my 92 and would like to hear good or bad comments. Thanks, Jeff
I replaced my Flow Master with the Magna Flows and they sound and perform 100 times better then the Flow Masters. They even look awesome. The sound is almost european
They were too overbearing for me and were removed the next day. You definately will hear them as well as everyone else in the vicinity and may overshadow your stereo enjoyment.
that's the about the damn goofiest thing i've heard, especially if your vette is just stock. are you an old lady?
Hey Guys, one thing to remember is all of our engines will sound different, as we all pretty much have different Horespower levels. The more air you push through your exhaust, the louder it will be.
