sport seats
Has anyone changed from sport seats to regular, half of my adjustments don't work, and covering the seats looks like a pita. Can I use the same tracks , whats the difference, thanks Jim.

I did Jim, going from sport to standard is easier than the other way around.
I put '96 standard seats in my 93 which originally had sport. They plug right in and all the functions work.
I just got my hands on some '96 sport seats and while they fit no problem, not all the functions work properly due to the different harnesses.
You shouldn't have a problem going to standard.

took sport seats out of my 86, put standards in....used the sport tracks with no prob....only diff is the std seat is easier to climb in and out and more comfy to ride in ( your fitment may disagree)

Look in the C4 TechTips Portal on this Forum for the fix for the sports seat bladders. It's not as hard (or expensive) as you might think.

That's bladders, the early c4 sport seats have side bolster motors (in addition to the bladders). The procedure is pretty much remove the hog rings and peel the seat fabric back. Not too hard to do, but I expect it to be very hard to get to look right again.
