Memcal interchangability??
Setting aside the programming, are memcals for the same ECM interchangable between different cars?
I have a couple of memcals I resoldered EEPROMS into, and one is from a replacement 278 ECM off of a 93 F body. It seems to work ok in my 92 coupe, but I don't know if limp home works, or if the knock circuit is the same as a Y body memcal. Anyone know for sure?
