I am really enjoying my first corvette (90 auto.) I have fixed all the little annoying problems that the car had when I purchased it, except for one that has me baffled. When I run my AC for a while, the light above it starts to blink and I have to pull the fuses out to reset the compressor.
I read that I may be low on freon, but I have noticed that the problems on starts when I try to change any of the settings. Such as turning up the tempature to make it warmer, or turn on the defroster. If I never change these settings, I never seem to have a problem with the AC. I have searched the forums, but could not find any information about my particular problem. It is beginning to get chilly in the mornings in Georgia and I want to be able to use the heat but would also like to make sure the cooloing fans run while I am in traffic by leaving the AC on.
If any one has any suggestions, please let me know.
BTW, I have pulled all the codes off the computer and all I get is code 12 (diagonsitic mode)
