radio antenna

Came out of the house the other night and heard a rather stange noise out of the left rear fender(noticed the antenna not all the way down). It finnally caught on that it was not going down and the lower limit was stuck? Finally found the plug inside the interior by rear bumper (conv). It it a real PIA to replace the mast part? wro87

If the antenna is not giong down because of a bent or stuck mast, remember that you can replace just the mast.

Thanks for the tip

. I can pull the antenna up or push it down but not quite all the way. I am thinking that the internal cable broke? or do i need to look for a replacement mast/ Thanks wro87
