My cruise doesnt work. It appears as if this car was a highway ride and the CC was used extensively. Anyone have any tips here? I am hoping that it could be something simple (go figure), but I am sure it is more likely the entire arm. Anyone ever replace one of these?
90% of the time it is as simple as a broken vacuum fitting under the passenger side fuel rail cover. Check that first and if not that let us all know and we can go forward from there.
A while back I had this issue too. Mine was also a simple vac tube that was broken while I was working on it one day and didnt notice I cracked one of those brittle little tubes.
I bought a vac tube kit from AutoZone for a few dollars. It had a couple feet of tubing and lots of little rubber connectors and caps in it to make fit for whatever you needed. I replaced just about everything with one kit.
The car idled better ( found another tube that I broke) and the Cruise worked after that again.
