Default Ecklers Ball Joints...$30 ??

Has anyone ever used these lower ball joints from Ecklers? This might be the first time I've ever seen Ecklers with a lower price than everyone else. I couldn't get an answer from them on who makes the ball joints or if they're OE. Anyone know or have you used them before?

I'd be leery, but then I'd get Moogs no matter what. If you're planning on keeping the car, get the best for this critical component.

My first choice would be Moog, then AC Delco. If Eckler's won't divulge the brand name, chances are it's some Chinese or Taiwanese off-shore contract.

If the Moog or AC Delco ball joints only run you $50 or so, why risk the $20? With Eckler's, you would still have to pay for shipping and that is $11.50 for two of them. That makes them about $36 each ordering from them.

I always associate Ecklers with carrying OE parts, so when I saw $30 as opposed to $75+ ea., I thought it was my lucky day! I'll probably do both sides so it wasn't a matter of $20. It's more like $70 vs. $160. Just figured I'd ask if anyon's used them before. I don't have a problem installing Moog or TRW. I'll have to call around locally tomorrow.

Coni Seal or Elgin both make $30 ball joints in the States. They claim to be OEM.
