Default sparks plugs

whats the difference in using ngk tr6 and ngk tr7ix, will one out performe the other with 12psi of boost? if using meth injection can i cool the charge down when i over spin the t-trim blower by 6000 rpm?

The cooler the plugs the better to a certain degree, generally most people do ot go more than 2 steps colder than stock you will start fouling plugs. It will also help in terms of spark knock going to a cooler plug. Especially with a higher boost, you may need to close the gap a bit as well...

With Methanol injection, you can trim back the fuel a touch as the meth cools the intake charge rather than counting on the fuel to do that. You may also be able to get a few more degrees of timing as well.

I believe the <ix> stands for Iridium. Perfectly safe for forced induction but quite a bit more per plug. the t6 and t7s are diff heat ranges and/or have a different resistor depth. Just give NGK tech a call. Great guys over there.

I've been running TR6's with 15lbs of boost for 4 years without a problem.
