Default Exhuast

I recently posted a thread about tpis full system but from what it sounds like that will be to loud for me i was wondering if anyone knows of an exhuast out there that flows good and is quiet at idle and opens up as you put your foot into it
thanks thomas

Personally, if you're keeping the rest of the exhaust stock (Cats, Manifolds, etc) I would say the Magnaflow cat-back is just what you're looking for. The ones I heard were nice a quiet at idle, with a very aggressive WOT note. Plus, the Magnaflows look great polished. My $.02

Sounds like the perfect description of the stock system.

Corsa Power Pulse. Expensive, but it is the best IMHO.

Go with muffler elims - no need to spend $1000 if you plan to keep the rest of the exhaust (manifolds, cats) stock

B & B Triflos! I like them so much I have them on my Ruby vert, 94 black coupe and my TR 98 vert. You can't beat em for the type of sound you are looking for. They ain't cheap but...you get what you pay for.

Keep your stock LT4 cat back as it is 2 3/4 inch dia. except at the resonator and the rear mufflers( stepped down to 2 1/2). www.advancedautocc.com they have a 2 3/4 inch X pipe that replaces your resonator and they have Magnaflo mufflers that have 2 3/4 inch inlets (Borla and several others make 23/4 also) but now you have a 2 3/4 cat back that out flows a 2 1/2 for a lot less money. I wish I had know this before I purchased my 2 1/2 Borla SS, it does sound great but for the money your stock exhaust just needs a little help.
