Default CCM/ECM problem mabey?

First off I replaced my IAC, temp switch wiring, TPS, and map sensor tonight. The new temp wiring solved my issue of not getting the correct temp to the computer. Problem is now my service ASR stays on and I have a code even though I reset the battery. Havent had a chance to read the code but this is the first time Ive had a code directly after disconecting the battery. The systems light also blinks every couple of seconds but it's always done this even stock. The car idles really high and adjusting the screw either gets me to low to idle to stay running or to high, like 1300 or so. Cant get it to idle at 900 rpms for nothing (which is what it's set at in the chip).
I dont know why the service ASR light stays on. Came on before now it stays on. The PKE is really wacky also. Doesnt completly look the doors when I walk away and if I lock them myself and walk away the lights will stay on inside. The lock/unlock button never works. It's a brand new fod programed for the car. The battery has died several times because of the wacky PKE. I jumped it today (it was drained completly). Took a while to get it to start but it started and will restart over and over again but it just wont idle right. Could a bad battery cause these issues?
How can I determine if the ccm and or the ecm is bad? Every sensor is brand new. Pump is new etc. Running out of ideas and becoming very fustrated. Car is a 1993 383 with a medium cam.

Just a thought but can the t/b gascket be put on backwards? Would that cause any issues?

It's a 1993. How do you go about checking the tach filter? After alot of searching I think I can link the asr light to the TPS. Nothing felt right at all when I installed it. Cant seem to find any decent instal instruction either. After getting some advice in another thread about thier tps install I have a feeling it will solve at least on issue.
What all does the tach filter do? Ive read it has something to do with filtering stuff from the opti or something.
