Re: Try using split fire plugs with superchaged applications (Red5)
Any dyno gain? I was always under the impression (and still am) that splitfires are the biggest plug scam going. Maybe since your running boost there is some kind of gain. My perspective is........electricity always takes the shortest route to ground, that route is always a 1 way path, not a 4 way path as splitfires and Bosche +4's show.

NOt necessarliy a better way to describe it is path of lest resistance if one electrode was closer then the other it will fire that one because it would be the path of lest resistance however if both electrodes are of equal length the path of lest resistance would be the one that is the coolest therefore it would alternate between the two electrodes. That is the engineering theory behind those plugs do they actually work i don't know

Matt,
Are you running a CD type ignition box. With a MSD BTM or the 6AL and a set of AC Delco FR3LS6 plugs with the electrodes back cut, I don't seem to have any issue with plugs fouling even in a rich idle condition like those sometimes experienced with the supercharger.
