To those of you who installed the TransGo shift, I have a question about the TV boost bushing (the valve that goes into the front of the tranny held in by the snap ring)
My TV boost Bushing was very tight fitting, is this normal?
In the Video after installing the bushing they Video Guy is able to push with a screw driver up and down a little on the valve. I can not move the bushing at all in my tranny, I am guessing I have it jammed but if this is normal let me knowI don't want to drop the pan for a 4th time if I don't have to. I am hoping the bushing will pop down when I start the car and put it in gear. (This first time I installed the kit, the TV bushing fell down because I didn't have the snapp ring in the proper groove.)
I installed the 4L60E Trans-Go kit in my SS. If your speaking of the valve that is orintated straight up and down, not horizontal in the valve body, yes I think it needs to move freely. In fact, when I installed the kit, all the upgraded parts slide in without any resistance, just a nice tight fit. Did it stick after you dropped it? I suspect you have bent the valve.
