Default polychain belt

[QUOTE, the manufacturer othemanufacturers that I checked) were very implicit about no more than 15° backwatds bend in the cog belt. This approach kept me from doing what you are attempting
hi ,Aaron out here at work i was talking to the guy from goodyear who designs drive system for heavy duty machinery ,(oil sands) that use the the goodyear polychain ,and asked him about the most backwards bend it can take and he told me it can take bends of about 180 degrees with out a problem as long as it has proper tension .he said they use them on oil sand separators, pulp mills, saw mills ,where some run at least a 80 degree bend backwards on idler pulleys with no issues.i was surprised when he told me that a belt system lasts about 3 times longer then a chain drives on these machines.also i sent you a few messages about the bracket but still no reply I'm not sure if your getting them but if you can please get back to me about it ,thanks
