Is a stock 90 L98 two or four bolt main?

KYVette90, As far as I know, all L98 engines were 2 bolt mains.

Just pulled my 86 L98 this week, 2 bolt, cast crank, won't be going back in. :smash:

Has anybody used Milodan Main Caps that can convert the 2 bolt to a 4 bolt? How much machine work is involved? I want to build a 383 and I don't want to use a 2 bolt. :smash:

We have used the Milodon main caps. You are talking about changing to a splayed 4-bolt main cap, right? If so, I think my machine shop charged about $200 to machine them.
