Default Head Gasket Job ?'s

Greetings,
I'm in the process of completing the head gasket job on my 87 and have a few questions...

How is the "Capacitor looking thing" hooked up? It's mounted on the rear side of the driver side cylinder head with the brake booster hardline.

I lost the damn intake bolt that holds the cold start injector in. Part number?

Can I replace the distributor gear only? I know its only $134 for a reman.

Color of the BAT and TACH connectors that go to the distributor.

I lost one of the throttle cable clips. Part number?

I have a set of after market headers that has an egr tube. Where can I get a clamp to mount the egr tube to the header?

Thanks

I think mine was bolted to one of the bell housing bolts. I've done this job several times and I never had to unbolt this from the back of either of my heads. BTW, this is the tach filter.

I don't know.

Yes you can. Knock out the roll pin with a punch and hammer to replace. Click here

BAT is pink, TACH is white. The cap is labeled as to which goes where.

Part# 90093. Pack of 4. I got them at Kragen. About $4.00. They hang on the misc part isle. Here's the actual package for your reference.

You can use a regular hose clamp for this purpose if you had to. Or you can get the original clamp from CC or a local dealer. Click here.

87 and up cars are supposed to have the 2 bolt flange style EGR pipe to exhaust manifold connection style that replaced the crimp clamp. Some aftermarket headers might still have the old style though. What long tubes do you have?

Small pics, but yeah, mine was not bolted to there for some reason. Someone before me must have been in there.

Default Thank you for the offer

Thank you Chucks88 for the offer, but the head gasket blew at my folks house in NY. Just to make sure I plug the filter between the distributor and tach wire right? I didn't see it in the wiring diagram.
Thanks again!
