Default Windshield/Dash Molding?

Does the windshield and/or the dash have to come out to replace the rubber molding that is visible thru the windshield and across the front of the dash where they meet on my 94 Vert?
Thanks
Roy

Just had a new windshield put in my 92 vert. They didn't change it out. Said it was only a pad between the windshield and the dash so it really doesn't do much. It looks like you have to pull the windshield to get at it. They did replace everything else though. Big job.

Bummer. I was hoping that it could be pulled out from the inside. Mine is all cracked and nasty. Anybody know if it can be done this way?
Thanks

If it's the one I'm thinking of, you have to pull the windshield.

I just put a new windshield in my 1991, and this piece your referring to was bothering me also, so I got one before they pulled the glass. To answer your question, yes, the glass does have to come out, even removing the dash won't do it. Oh yes, they were only $22.00, and they are still available through the dealerships.
