Default 1991 Frame Painting / Part 2

Hey guys, Just a follow up as promised as I completed painting my frame yesterday. This turned out great, and now I'm just waiting on a load of parts that are at the powder coater. I will post pictures as I start the reassembly.

Wow, that looks great. Your car is as clean as they come. Keep up the good work.

Actually, it might be for sale once I finish assembling it. Someone else on the Forum has a 1980 he has to sell, and that is the year of the first Vette I ever bought. Honestly, everyone on here probably looks at a lot of C4's, I would be interested if anyone has ever seen one with this much detail.

Man I doubt that any C4 looked that good when they rolled off of the end of the line at BG!

You are one very focused individual!

I took it right back to where the body sets on, it looks just the way it probably would have from the factory, and I taped the lines so I didn't go to far. if I had a bigger garage, I would have pulled it completely apart.

Looks great !

I find myself in the same boat when I need to "touch up" or "detail" something. It definitely becomes much more than a little task

No, it doesn't, and I'm really not into performance anymore. The motor is all stock, and enough things can go wrong with these cars without trying to put another 200 HP more to it, than what it was designed for.

I will leave the drag / street racing to you guys, in another 10 years when a majority of these cars are in the bone-yard, it will only make this one worth more...........

The car I had before this one was a 2001 Z28, with heads, cam, headers, 6-speed, 125 HP shot of nitrous, LS1 edit, and a Moser 12 bolt with 4:10 gears. That car put down 503 HP / 438 HP with, and without, nitrous to the rear wheels, BUT, after a ride in the back of a town cops squad car for a speed contest, and 6 other tickets, those days are definitely done for me!!!!

Nothing like a freshly painted and detailed chassis. Love the way it looks!

WOW!!!

A truly stunning piece of work, and an absolute labor of love!

I can only hope that one day, I too will have an equal level of conviction to do the same to my own C4.

Thanks for sharing and keep up the great work - this is a true inspiration.
