Auto trans tip- tv cable.
The 84-93 vettes have a tv cable that conncets the tv valve to the throttle body. This valve uses throttle to ramp up or down line pressures inside the trans. It is the only way a nonelectronic transmission can sense load. VERY important to keep this valve properly adjusted for long transmission life. I recommend doing it every time you change the oil. Very easy to do on the pre 92 cars. Consult the Helms book for 92-93.
