code 34
My 92 LT 1 recently used to stall when idling. Replaced plugs and everything seems ok until i drove her and she seems to ' miss ' when accelerating. It gives a code 34 ( MAP sensor ) . Has anybody seen this fault and does anybody know where to go from here . Incidently the tacho also seems to now read slow - is this connected and where is it fed from ?

Code 334==MAP voltage low (i.e. vacuum high)
At idle the MAP sensor should provide ~1.0-1.5 Vdc on pin B with +5Vdc on the ref. pin C; pin A is signal ground.
If the +5Vdc is on found on pin C and the voltage on signal pin B is questionalbe, the MAP sensor likely needs to be replaced.
Of course you should check manifold vacuum at idle to assure you do not have a vacuum leak.
