I PM'd you back. Glad you like them...if you look close at the photos you will see that the bottom side of the billet block has been slightly milled out to shave some weight.

Default Advantage to solid Mounts?

So what is the advantage/disadvantage to solid engine mounts? Need some schooling on this issue...

Sam and a very good friend of ours made these. I'll let Sam reply with contact information as I am not sure how they plan to go about making and distributing.

I have seen them in person and can attest to their quality.

I pm'd you but your message box is full. Since the builder of these is not a forum sponsor please pm me...I promise you will be happy with the quality and the price. The lead time is about 3 weeks for them.

Default Solid Motor Mount for a C4

Advantage: Eliminates engine movement and twisting which eliminates broken transmission cases. Solid engine mounts can save you from frustration and they do not wear out like a factory engine mount will. The solid engine mounts for a C4 are also nearly as cheap as factory replacements.

Disadvantages: You may feel some engine vibration...most like it but the polishers probably would not.
