Default VATS issues

I spent half a day under my dash of my 92 LT1 convertible looking for the yellow and brown wires to disable the VATS system but I couldn't find them. Does anyone know if the wire colors are different for a 92? Or exactly where the wires are run?
Thanks

Haven't had to do this myself but I know it is a two lead connection on the column. Check out this thread from GIJoe. He goes into some detail.

I believe the wires are white/black and purple/white, from the CCM to a black connector (base of stearing column) . The wires go thru the connector (A&B) and are both black and go up the column to the lock cylinder.

Also be aware that if you install the resistor, you have not eliminated VATS, but have only bypassed the pellet in the key and hence that portion of the lock cylinder. VATS is still very much alive and still working. Everything it controls still has to function properly.

The VATS wire runs along the steering column. Here is a pic of a 93 column (which I beleive is the same as a 92)...

Thanks for the info.

I think I'm just going to have PCM4less take out VATS all together. The car never leaves my side and is garage kept.

Nice!

I've only had it for 3 months and top speed so far has been 104. With the top down.

www.vatssucks.com

the color combos are listed on the schematics for your year.

the early C4 are brown/yellow, later C5 are different color. ALL of them run the same way up from under the dash, up the column and into the lock cyl.
