Default tune up

I just got my dream car a '90 vette and got under the hood to give it its fist tune up in a while, but I can not seem to get to the 4th-8th sparkplug. I can see their close to the headers but do you have to take them off to get a socket on the plugs?

Dont worry about the socket mate, grab yourself a 5/8th offset ring spanner, and use that. Have a look at my pics here:

With the headers i have on my LT1, i can only get a socket on 2 or 3 of the plugs. If you have trouble getting a socket on the plug and its a tight area you also run the risk of cracking the plugs. The offset ring spanner will get into any of them with ease, and very slim chance of damage to the plugs. Give it a go.

Congratulations on the new car and welcome to the forum!!

Default plugs

those australians even sound cool when they type.just fyi a lot of people also do away with the egr pipes on the factory headers for a LOT more room in there. just cut,tap and plug, or weld the holes up with a mig,you can even do it in place.
