Worn control tube, what do I replace/allign?
I noticed on my last oil change that my left tire moves very slightly. Inspecting for the problem, I've found the problem is the steering arm, with some very small slop on the bearing that attaches to the spindle.
Has anyone replaced this part? What's it called? Did it fix slop in the steering wheel?
Thanks.

Sounds like your looking at a tie rod.
When you say one tire moved, was this in the air?
My rack moves both tires back and forth when I push on em with the front in the air.
I thought you check for beat wheel bearings by moving the front wheels at the 12 and 6 o'clock posistions?

Replace both sides if it turns out to be the tie rod ends. This will save you the expense of getting the front end aligned again when the other one needs replacing. It'll also save you the grief of having one more &*&^ thing to fix.
