Powder coated calipers
If I powder coat my calipers and make them "purdy" what will happen to them if I Auto-X my car. Will I bake my expensive finish off?

Did you use something special for the powder in that case? The stuff I buy always has a curing temp listed (usually around 400F) but I've never seen an operating temperture range for the final coat.

Standard powder does cure at 400 degrees. I had a small powder coating shop for a couple of years and never did mine because I autox and wanted to do some track days. There are some high temp powders that go up to 1000 degrees or another option is ceramic coatings. Which alot of people that powder coat also do that. There is a member on here that is a sponsor that I know from the powder coating forums that maybe able to help you out.
