Default gas rank noise?

hey guys. please help. Whenever my tank gets low a loud noise/whine starts up. When I fill it up it goes away. Another thing is when I take the cap off the tank is so full of pressure its like a hot radiator but without gas flying out. I dont know if this has happened to anybody or if anybody knows what this is? thanks

dont let gas get that low. pump uses gas to keep motor cool. pump lasts longer that way.

It's your fuel pump that is mounted in the tank.
The fuel in the tank supresses the sound of the pump running.
The more fuel the more sound supression.

Your pump really shouldn't be that lound however. It may be headed to the great pump graveyard......or it may pump forever like that.

Mine does about the same thing but always try to keep it above a 1/3 of a tank. I ran it down once and the pump can get noticeably louder.

The pressure is normal for the tank operation.

As the others said, keep fuel in it for pump cooling.
