I am having my 93 vert painted. I have a question about the heat from the radiator cap. My hood had a spider web above the radiator cap on the painted side. It looked like cracks in the fiber glass. As anyone else experienced this problem and if so what did you do?

Thanks for the help on this.

The heat shouldn't do that, it is or was pressure from something under the hood. DonF

Thanks for the reply. Do you know what the clearance should be between the hood and radiator cap? There is not any apparent damage on the inside of the cowel. I need find the cause before the paint job goes to far. Thanks again.
