nitous has nothing to do with the intake your using. it will be fine with a sr. the power level you choose should be based on what the bottom end of the motor can handle.
He told me when I wanted to do a 125 shot on my 350 that the danger of using a plate system on a SR is that the front cylinders tend to take more of the shot, and lean the back cylinders out because of the volume in the intake. If you tap and nozzle each intake runner, it's not a big deal, but also a lot more expensive than the plate system.
ive a 200HP nitrous shot set-up on my vette superram but never use it's too scarry
my top speed witout nitrous is about 290kmh-295kmh and its very fast and the car is not so stable at this speed. i dont know if ill ever use it
here is some pics

the super ram and most all injected type manifolds are DRY intake systems .....the corners are too sharp and a wet shot will have lean cylinders....to do it right you need port injection.
I have a NOS 5151 150 wet shot on my 87 383 super ram. I have probably run 40+ bottles of spray with no issues.
I got away with it for a year myself........then it bleu the superram lid right though the hood.........ate a bolt and cracked the block....good luck with yours
I am running a plate 150 shot myself on my 383 Super Ram.
I was told that was the max because after that the lean condition may occur.
So to go to a 2 stage 100 -200 set up I was thinking I would have to go direct port to the runners.
I also had my SR, runners, etc ported, polished, and chromed so maybe it will flow better.
Thoughts?
Thanks in advance for your reply.

I am running a plate. I was told by the NOS techs that the solenoids will only support 175 horse or so. I decided to just leave it alone. If I up my cubes or the cylinder heads(larger cc intake runners), I am switching to port injection.

Thanks.
I have the same limit on the selenoids so my thought was to get biggers ones. but I am trashing that idea.
My motor was built with a 300 shot in mind so port injection is it.
I am also using a DFI fuel management system. Thinking od switching to F.A.S.T. system when I do the direct port.
