Did anyone do this to there car? If so, is it worth it. I want my car to be louder to have that corvette sound. Also if anyone has any pics of it, can you please post it. thanks

Re: Muffler Elims??? (13Mick33)
Yes, it is worth it, but I wouldn't buy the actual Muffler Eliminators. Just go to any competent exhaust shop. Cost me $70 for the whole job, and the guy was really professional about making sure everything lined up good. Sounds great!
I used to poo-poo the idea of muffler eliminators until I bought a really nice '94 convertible with them already installed. I'll be damned, it sounded pretty good and was not obnoxiously loud, either. Certainly livable. Don't expect any noticeable power gains, though. No substitute for a good cat-back exhause system.
I did this about 7 years ago, did feel like I loss a little low end, but it's so slight. After I installed the 4.09 in the rear it more than made up for it.
The sound can't be beat but the resonance is starting to get to me after all these years. I might move to magnaflow, they are supposed to be loud, nice looking, inexpensive, and they are supposed to flow as much as an elim.
