Tachometer reading abit high
just lately my tach has started reading too high of rpm (not rediculously high, but its definantely not right), what would cause that BESIDES the digi cluster (newly rebuilt) Would I need to look at the tach filter, it is basically new--BUT, its very possible water or oil has gotten on it/or in it, I mean the thing is just sitting there in the back of intake and I believe the wires are exposed going in/out of it, could that cause wrong readings. Mechanic said that sounds unlikely
