I got a timing light, and found the timing to be at 16 deg Advanced, I retarded it down to 8 and the car now holds an idle....
It still seems as though sometimes after idleing for a while it is very sluggish off the line, sometimes chocks and wants to die.... Im wondering if 8 is too much, I had no idea such a MINUTE difference in the distributor effected drivability so severely.
I also have the problem with the fuel pressure regulator being broken, and leaking vacuum badly as well as effecting the fuel pressure.

Re: Still Rough idle.... Thoughts... (weekendwrench)
I set the timing with that wire disconnected. Its at 8 but I think I want to put it at 6... it still stalls right at startup. Whats the right timing though for my LT4 Hot cam.
