How is this properly done. I have read several web pages and things, and some info just doesnt seem correct. One said to ground the ALDL A and B start the motor let it idle then stop the motor and disconnect the IAC before adjusting. Do you really start the motor with the aldl grounded though? Other than that if someone could just walk through it especially where this alledged screw is and how much it'll take to adjust Im thinking Im a little low at around 600 as the car hunts and really wants to die sometimes at idle... Thought Id see how a slightly higher idle might help.

You jumper the ALDL to fully extend the IAC pintle, and to put it in Diagnostic mode so that the rest of the adjustment doesn't set any error codes...The adjustment screw is on the plate at the drivers side of the throttle body where the cables attach...
When you change your car's factory parts (ie cam), you can forget about many factory procedures. You can throw the idle set procedure out the window. You will have to make many changes in the programming to get the car to idle right.
