Now I am on the clock to get up and running before you guys get the dyno time...If I am, count me in, but I can't make any promises.

yes, My wallet feels a little better, heavier!

The dyno day is going to be held on Jan 27th. Do you think you can get your car running by then?

nice numbers robert!! the bluewasp is in flight. you combination is really coming into it's own.

if you want to borrow some 335 hosiers on my zr1 wheels, you can hook that beeotch to see what it will do. my bet is 122 mph in the quarter or better.

fyi, you would be doing well to do a 368 under 20k, they're not cheap, but a good one will pull 475 rwhp with cams. but just getting the cams (4) will run $3200!!!

aaron scott had a 95 that looks like a stock car and it would run right with my 508 rwhp stroker lt5 because it would hook better.

strong car. most 368s run more in the 440 rwhp range so that one is a bit of a freak with lots of porting and cam timing.

440 rwhp out of a 383 is just nuts. congrats!!

I'm happy with the results. The base tune was a mail order PCMforLESS tune, several tuning sessions by John Sealock at Woodbridge dynotech and fished by ED at automotive tech in Norfolk VA. Ed was able to eliminate a lot of the cam surge and he really improved the drivability. I extremely happy with the results.

the 426 number was the last pull on the sdpc motor before it broke and the 441 is the tuned engine I have now.
I went to automotive tech when i lived in Virginia, I thought the guy was a joke. It took him about a month to tune my damn car and after he tuned it, it was extremely lean. I paid 300 bucks for that tune, he put in new fuel injectors that i dont think i needed and he put the wrong size gaskets back on my intake manifold all said and done it was about 800 bucks. He told me I need a new fuel pump, but its still running today (2 1/2 years later) He had my car for a month! I considered that place garbage. I was had by him.

My Plonner. It was just brought to my attention that you had made this post. I went and reviewed your invoice and thought it was in my best interest to set the record straight. You've had 3 weeks to either edit or delete your post. I dont appreciate being called a "joke" by someone who brings me a cobbled up terd and then comes on the internet to bash me. so here goes. Lets review your invoice, I have it right here:
So lets go over your post.
First, I dont doubt your car may have been here a month. We have a constant back log of work. Pretty good for being a joke.
Second, please tell me where we charged you for tuning? You are just like alot of people in that you think a tune is the answer to your running issues. The car came in with straight plug, iron cyl heads with headers that appeared to be for angle plug heads, and several of the plug wires were up against the header tubes, and burned. As stated in the work order, we replaced the plugs with shorties to get them off the header tubes. Stating that I tuned your car, and even quoting a price is an all out LIE. If I did anything to the PCM I adjusted the injector size, AND THATS ALL! AND I DIDNT EVEN CHARGE YOU!!!
As far as the injectors, there must have been a bad one, as I DO NOT GUESS, I TEST!! And the intake gaskets? I could be wrong but I think there is only one size gasket for the runners.
As for the fuel pump, did it ever occur to you that I may use diagnostic techniques that allow me to "see" things that you cant? Example below

Example #1 is a GOOD fuel pump. These are screen shots of the amperage draw of the pumps

Example #2 is a BAD fuel pump.
Notice the difference? Both cars ran. #2 is a failure waiting to happen.
This is the most advanced way of diagnosing fuel pumps, or any other electrical component for that matter.
And as for your time line of 2 1/2 years later, notice the date. again a LIE!!! I debated for many hours as to whether or not to respond to your post. I have worked too hard to build my business and reputation to let some IDIOT go on the internet and LIE about their experience with me.
Again, you may be correct in that we had your car for a month. That is a legitimate gripe. But to lie about the work performed and take jabs at me, calling me a joke, when you have no concept of what we did, or what I'm capable of, I just wont stand for that. This is one of the biggest problems with dealing with people like you. Your car had multiple problems, as do alot of older cars that have been modified by people of lesser capabilities. You built, or had built a POS and bring it in to someone like myself and expect that a "tune" is gonna fix all of your problems. You could have dealt with this with me on an individual basis. you chose to air it out here. I could have PMed you all of this, but because you chose this avenue, I did the same.
HAVE A NICE DAY!!!!
