OK, I'm one of the Turbo-Link guys. Basically since I had it already for my GN and soon after I bought my Corvette they expanded it to work with all kinds of other GM EFI cars. It does have unlimited scanning/recording time and a multitude of screen shots that you can tailor for your needs.
TunerPro does have some issues with the 90/91 digital dash vettes. mseven was lucky enough to get conneted once or twice.
That said, I've been working on a new scanning/logging app called ScannerPro. It is completely free. It's still very much in alpha/beta form. Its features will eventually be integrated into TunerPro.
What I'd like is to see is one of the more savvy forum members here to pull down ScannerPro and create a definition for the 90/91 vettes. The download has a 90/91 F-body definition. All one would need to do is add/modify a connection macro to send out the silence comms command, followed up by a mode 1 data dump. That would silence the CCM and allow ScannerPro to connect full-time to the ALDL data.
mseven: You are way above my head on this question. Suggest you send an email to Ken Mosher at kenmosher@turbo-link.com. He designed the Turbo-Link software and is very familiar with the GM systems. He may have an answer to your question.

Anyone ever think it may be related to how much hard drive space may be left on the PC. I don't think a drive with any thing other than NTFS format will be limited to the size file that can be stored on the drive.
Just my thought on the subject.
