Any good idea's about a rev limiter on my new 355.. I mostly AutoCross the car, so I really can't pay to much attention to the tach. The new motor is 355ci. 420hp. Trick Flow, rev's really quick, but hav found it best to shift at 5800rpm. .. I would like to find an inexpensive but reliable method to limit the rpm., so I don't blow it up? any idea's ..
Can't you reset your factory fuel cut-off. Also, a shift-light will help you know when to shift without looking at the tach.
That would be interesting, any idea how that would be done? The problem is it rev's so fast in first, I'm afraid I'll blow it .. this is the 3d. motor .. AutoCross is jus to intense to watch the tach .. I do plan to install a shift light though..
hmm. what's that in English? sorry.. does that have to do with the ignition?
I saw that you have an 86 and I am not sure if your ecm has a rev limit set on it. If so you need a new chip programmed with the rev limiter set.
