coolant procedure problem
I undone the drain in the radiator of my 89,had the cap off,heater hose off the inlet.and the top radiator hose disconnected at the thermostat housing.heater on.
I flushed the engine till water run clean and stopped draining.
reconnected heater hose etc added new coolant slowly via stacking through top hose and it only took a couple of quarts and it was full??
run engine without cap off to operating temp no change...I thought may be air block,but think water still retained in block.
how do I drain totally??
