For my C5, it ran close to $100/hp for bolt-ons, and I expect the C4 to be about half that. I look at it this way- I buy the best thing I can afford. If it means I have to save a little while longer to buy real headers, so be it. Obviously things like cams and spray give you a lot more power for the cost.
