I think you aren't being realistic.

A 450rwhp C4 is not a daily driver....it's a project car.
A labor-intensive project car. It will not be reliable. It will not be dependable. It will most likely never even be "done".
The only way it will work is if you budget another $4000 for a nice, used Toyota to be your DD while you work on the Vette. Consider the Toyota as just another speed part.
You have to be realistic with your goals.
