paint cost
My 88 just got her new chrome sawblades and they look fabulous. My next effort will be a new paint job, sticking with the same dark metallic red color. Can anyone help me out with an approximate cost of what a good job might cost?

My 85 cost $3100 from a chevy dealer. Try more than 1.

I just got a rough quote today from a well admired shop. They told me that without ANY body work, going back the same color(black) that it would be about $3000.00.

when shopping for a paint job don't just go with the cheapest price. there is a huge difference in price between quality paint materials and cheap ones. materials alone could cost $1500.00 look at some of their paint jobs preferably ones that are a few years old. they all look good when just painted, but cheap materials don't hold up well. good luck
