HVAC blower problem, please help
Never fails for something to go out when you need it. Weather has been warm up here, but now that the temp is back to where it's supposed to be I lose the blower for HEAT. It's not the automatic HVAC system. Turned it on yesterday and no blower. Hit a bump went on. Hit a bump went off and so on. Now nothing at all. I can feel hot air and as long as I'm moving there is some flow so I don't develope icicles, just nothing to blow it out. Where do I start. Car's a 95.

Had a similar problem with my 89. Blower motor would not run. Opened the hood and tapped the blower motor housing, blower came on. Replaced blower motor, ($29 at Auto Zone). Very easy to replace on my 89. Problem go bye-bye.

Yup. Sounds like your blower motor's gone **** up. It's pretty easy to replace thanks to the C4's clamshell hood design.

Similar problem....blower motor would come on intermitently and make this loud noise occasionally, removed the blower motor to replace it and found a dead mouse in the wheel! Guess that's what was making the noise.
