Car Starts Great When Cold New Opti, wires, Plugs, airfilter, fuel Filter, new Radiator, Hoses, And So On. But When Car Is At Operating Temp And Then Shut Off You Have To Turn It Over A Lot For It To Start Any Suggestions I'm New To Forum Its A 93 Lt1 Auto.
One of the things tht can cause a hard warm start is leaking injectors.
Not sure if the same, but on my 86 if you press the gas pedal all the way to the floor when you start when hot it sets the computer in flood mode. Try this and see if it starts right up, again not sure if it is the same as mine.
It's the injectors. My dad's did the same thing, '88, and the Vette tech, at the dealership, told him it was the injectors. After changing them out the car started great when hot. No, I didn't let him have the dealer do the work. I convinced him he could save a ton of money by doing it himself.
Leaky injector(s) is the most likely cause of your hard starting problem from the description given. You will need a fuel pressure guage to watch fuel pressure drop after the rail in primed. A ohm meter to check for injector coil resistance and you need to pull some spark plugs to see if they are wet. The LT1 fuel rail is on top of the intake as the L98 is under. It makes it easier to pull the injectors out...still attached to the rail to visualy see if one or more is leaking. Good luck and keep us updated.
