Service ABS/Service ARS
Today I fired up the vette for a weekend run and in the middle of the run the service abs/ars lights came on. In addition to this on occasion, the BRAKE light on the console flashes on and off with acceleration. So far, I have pulled the wheels to check the calipers for leaks, checked the master front and rear, and examined the ABS unit in the rear compartment. All looks good with no leaks. Brakes still are functioning great. I have hooked a Dicom to the ECU and I am not showing codes in the ECU. How do you pull codes for the braking system?
Thanks in advance.

If the light comes on at braking/accleration then it's most likely low on brakefluid!
Retrieving ABS codes using ABS light:
Flash Code Method:
1) With ignition off, install jumper wire between pin "H" (White/Tan wire) and pin "A" (Black/White wire) of ALDL connector.
2) Turn ignition on. Diagnostic display mode will remain active as long as pin "H" is grounded, serial data link connection has not been initiated, and vehicle speed is less than 4mph.
3) Approximately 3 seconds after ALDL pin "H" is grounded, EBCM will begin flashing SERIVCE ABS light to indicate trouble codes in sequence. Sequence will start with Code 12 to signal the beginning of trouble code display.
4) Each stored trouble code will be displayed 3 times. After all trouble codes are displayed, sequence will be repeated.
Note: Trouble codes 41, 45, 55, 61 and 63 can ONLY be read through ALDL using Tech 1 if trouble code is currently present (current code). The EBCM will not allow any trouble codes to be flashed if any of these codes is current. If trouble codes existed previously (history code), but not currently present, trouble codes can be read using SERVICE ABS light.
Code:
41 - Right Front Solenoid Valve Fault
45 - Left Front Solenoid Valve Fault
55 - Rear Wheel Solenoid Valve Falut
61 - Pump Motor or Motor Relay Fault
63 - Solenoid Valve Relay Fault
My 92 vert was very sensitive to low brake fluid. The lights would come on during autocross runs or track days with hairpin turns and hard braking. The min/max lines on the reservoir are hard to see. Fil the reservoir to the base of the filler neck and you should be OK.
