1995 -Drivers Door Panel - Help!
Has anyone experienced the drivers side door panel coming loose at the top? I checked on-line for any recalls and service bulletins - NADA! I even installed a new door panel today and this one is loose! Any "quick" cures? The passenger side seems to be OK, why, I don't know. I have studied both sides and they both look alike. The panel goes on easy and seems to be secure until you close the door...HELP!!! Driving me :crazy:

Sorry to say, but this is a common problem with that year. I have had the same problem and I've solved mine by using some marine adhesive sealant. Good Luck! [img]:U[/img]

I used pop rivits to hold a metal tab to the door panel so it would not slip over the lip of the door frame. Used two on each side, one at the front and one at the back. Will E-mail a pic.

Oh, I forgot, the metal pieces are 3"X2" bent down the middle at about 30deg so they hold the panel secure. I've seen many door panels done this was from the factory. I think GM forgot to put them on.
