Default Stainless Roller Rockers on e-bay

I've been looking at these rockers on e-bay and would like to know if anyone has used them, or what you think of them. The price is great which makes me wonder!

I've never heard of the brand and they're about half the price of what a known good brand will cost you. I'd steer clear, cheap engine parts can become very expensive real fast.

IMHO, looks like a knockoff on the Comp Cams Pro Magnum, I saw them at PRI and couldn't tell the difference between them. Don't know about the material quality but the machining was fine.

That's what I thought when I saw them too. Even the name is a cheap attempt to capitalize on a great rocker with a proven record for long life. I may have cringed a bit when initially paying $275-300 for my CC Pro Mags. But going on 30K miles later, they were a good investment and money well spent.

Those rockers are pro-comp been around for a long time, only negative I heard is that the way the side is held in with that spring clip, somebody said they had one come apart, that was a long time ago so I'm not sure if they improved them. I think Sutton Racing sells there stuff. Maybe someone can give more first hand info.

These are the guys. Never heard of them. Appears to be different from the Pro-Comp company that makes shiddy suspension kits.

Here's some info on them...

Take a look at the Pro Comp cylinder head threads in the C3 folders... Asian knockoffs from the look of it, same guys?

EDIT - Looked at the auction...these are non self-aligning rockers, FYI.

They are manafactured by CAT (Cal Auto Transpeed) and re-boxed by a lot of companies. Cat also makes private lable versions for them with their alum rockers and shaft mount rockers. More companies than I can count re-box or use private lable CAT parts like crank forgings, billet main caps, rocker arms, harmonic balancers... pretty much anything that can go inside of a motor.

The quality of those SS rocker arms is good. I have a few sets running around in street cars with no problems. It's a good prouduct and the price is good. It's not NASCAR quality stuff (nor are Comp Cams rockers) but it is good stuff that any competent engine builder could use in any Sportsman level race engine.

If you just got to spend money with Comp Cams, IMO it yours do what you will. I wouldn't spend a dime with them but that's just me. Just because something is reasonabally price and not made by Comp Cams does not mean that it is no good.

Those cyl heads are some more of PRO COMPs re-boxing. Unfortunatly some parts distributors are selling them and mis representing them as a RHS prouduct.
