Wideband O2 sensor

Hello to all. I have a 85 with a stock L98. Would it be of any benefit to install a wideband O2 sensor as a replacement for the old one ?

If you have a stock motor, I don't see a benefit, other than the fact that you can see your a/f ratio on a guage.
