c4 Rear brake upgrade
I saw in the sticky that there are c5 adapters. Does this count for the rear as well? and if so does any one sale the rear adapters only. I'm assuming I can then buy C5 rear brakes off the forum, ebay or the junk yard and just bolt them on. Is this correct? I'm also under the impression that I might need to change my wheel if the wheel is too small.

It won't work. The caliper mounting bracket is different with a different bolt pattern. Plus the C5 uses a drum in the rotor for the parking brake. It would take a lot of re-engineering, probabaly why no one makes such a bracket.

His car is a 84, which also utilizes a drum parking brake. So the 84-87 cars are the closest to getting a C5 caliper mounted on the rear. The issue becomes is it really worth making a bracket that doesn't improve braking performance by much.
