You know that satisfying 'pop/click' noise that a plug boot makes when it seats properly on the plug? Well, I cant get #7 plug boot back on properly - it is driving me crazy (1 hour and counting). Anyone have any tips? 1992 LT-1.
1) Don't know if it's possible on your wires, but has the boot slid down the wire too far to engage connector.
2)If you look into the boot, you may notice the connector has opened up a bit. If so, maybe a little pliers work will do the trick to close the gap.

FWIW ....When I had my old LT1, I found it sometimes easier to reach up from underneath the car for the back plugs on each side. I could get better "leverage".
Oh - and I found that removing the AIR / EGR pipe from just behind the Brake Master Cylinder, and loosening the ASR module - I can get my (skinny) wrists down to #5 and #7 plugs just fine.
