Default HELP! 91 Vert

So my vert has been sitting out while my son works on his boat, then I go to move it back to the garage and it's sitting there going click, click, cilck, click .

sounds like the release for the rear hatch, but I'm not pushing the button. Left side, right side, left side, right side. WHAT The?

Unhooked the ground from the battery, no diff, pushed all the yellow relase buttons, no diff.

NO that shuts it off. I will pull the hardtop today and see what's up. to tired last night to mess with it. sounds like the solinods just keep fireing. good thing i found it or the battery would be dead and the solinoids toast.

Another member had the same problem recently.

He lives somewhere around Seattle. It seems rainwater had built up in the rain trough of the Convertible Storage Compartment Lid from the drain holes being plugged up. The water was completing the Lid Release circuit.
Disconnect battery. Unplug wiring to the solenoid and to let dry (re-connect battery). Check drain holes in the corners of trough. Clean thoroughly. Make sure water drains out quickly. Reconnect plug to check operation.
The circuit can be completed if water has gotten inside any of the Release buttons, also.

Hope this works.
