Coolant leak
Guys;
i have notice that when i shut the car off after several sec coolant will come out from under the car for a couple of seconds then it stops,by driver side under the car by middle or rear of the engine my low coolant lite does come on i cant seem to see any leaks from the top of the engine hard to see under the car w/o a lift any suggestions were could the coolant be coming from around that area.

Does your 88 have the oil cooler, could be the lines, what about a freeze plug, it is kind of hard to tell, just got to lift it up and get under to look, but the above is a start.

Yep, middle-rear on driver's side would be the area of the oil cooler.
The cooler lines go around the top of the oil filter.
On an '88 the coolant feed line comes from a T near the RH side of the lower water pump hose.
