swaping the 4+3
I'm going to be swapping out my '86 4+3 in the future and was wondering what is the easiest swap and what else would have to changed or modified.
ZF6?

I did the ZF-6 TransPlant. Bolt in but need to modify the drive tunnel.
Since you're going to remove the Cbeam, I'd install ZFDoc Cbeam plates.

Central Coaster did the ZF 6 thing - search back through the forum, he documented it here pretty well!
